Elizabeth May hits the campaign trail in P.E.I.

OTTAWA --  Green Party Leader Elizabeth May (MP, Saanich-Gulf Islands) will be on the campaign trail in Prince Edward Island next Monday and Tuesday. Ms. May will join Leader of the P.E.I. Green Party, Peter Bevan-Baker, and other Green candidates for a series of events and rallies.

MONDAY APRIL 15TH

VISIT TO L'ÉCOLE ÉVANGÉLINE
Ms. May will join Nick Arsenault, Green Party candidate for Évangéline-Miscouche (District 24) to meet the principal, staff and community leaders at this francophone school in Abram-Village. A group of 9th grade students are anticipating a lively political discussion with Ms. May to wrap up their year’s civics studies. 
When: April 15, 2 - 3.15 p.m.

ACADIAN EVENT 
Acclaimed Island Acadian historian, Georges Arsenault, will welcome Ms. May to the Acadian Museum. After a brief presentation by Mr. Arsenault, there will be a reception with live Acadian music.
When: April 15, 3.30 - 4.30 p.m.
Where: Acadian Museum, 23 Main Dr E, Miscouche

PUBLIC GATHERING - PARTY WITH THE PARTY!
Islanders will have an opportunity to share their priorities, concerns and vision for P.E.I.’s  future with Ms May and Mr. Bevan-Baker. After the speeches and discussions, there will be an auction and lots of fun with live music and dancing.

TUESDAY, APRIL 16TH

Ms. May joins Mr. Bevan-Baker to meet candidates followed by a networking lunch and a speech by Elizabeth May.
