New Figures Prove We Hit Peak Oil in 2005

The fact that oil hit $110 a barrel yesterday is highlighting how world oil production has peaked.

Absolutely Flat Oil production in 2005, 2006 and 2007 proof that we’ve hit Peak Oil

DOE Numbers Confirm we are at the Global Peak of Oil. It is unlikely that Global production will ever substantially increase again. Brace yourself for chronic oil and gas shortages in the coming years and decades.

Subject: Almost perfectly flat oil production in 2005,6,7

Official EIA (Energy Information Agency of the Department of Energy of the US) statistics released yesterday in the February 2008 International
Petroleum Monthly revealed that the total world oil production averaged 84,631, 84,597, 84,635 thousand barrels per day in 2005, 2006, and 2007,
respectively.

Production varied between these year by no more than 0.045%.

That's a plateau.
