Media Advisory: Elizabeth May participates in ‘One Million Climate Jobs’ Forum at COP21

(OTTAWA) December 3, 2015- Elizabeth May, Leader of the Green Party of Canada and MP (Saanich - Gulf Islands), will participate in the ‘One Million Climate Jobs’ Forum, co-hosted by the Canadian Labour Congress (CLC)Climate Action Network (CAN-RAC), and the Green Economy Network at the Paris Climate Conference (COP 21) on Thursday, December 3.

The forum will focus on how to fight climate change and create one million jobs by transitioning to a clean economy. The job creation plan will centre on four main priorities: clean and renewable energy, energy efficiency and green buildings, public transit, and higher speed rail transport.
