(OTTAWA) – Advocates for the Federal Framework on Lyme Disease hold a non-partisan media conference to discuss their concerns with the current Draft Framework. Participants include:
- Elizabeth May, Leader of the Green Party of Canada (MP, Saanich-Gulf Islands)
- Melanie Wills, Director of the Canadian Lyme Science Alliance and Research Associate in Molecular and Cellular Biology at University of Guelph
- Dr. Liz Zubek, Family Physician specializing in the treatment of Lyme Disease
- Rossana Magnotta, Director with the Canadian Lyme Disease Foundation, and President & Founder of the G. Magnotta Foundation for Vector-Borne Diseases
- Kelvin Ogilvie, Conservative Senator, Chair of the Senate Committee on Social Affairs, Science and Technology
- Tracey Ramsey, NDP MP (Essex)
