(OTTAWA) – Elizabeth May, Leader of the Green Party of Canada (MP, Saanich-Gulf Islands), is giving the 2018 Thomas Garden Barnes Lecture at Berkeley University. The event is presented by the Canadian Studies department and co-sponsored by the Institute of Governmental Studies. Elizabeth’s lecture asks whether Canada can claim climate leadership and if the Paris Accord can succeed in avoiding the worst of the climate crisis. Everyone is invited to a reception following her talk.
